We seem to keep adding to our roster for 2009. We are pleased to add Mike Benedek and Nate Loman. Mike presently lives in Ft.Wayne Indiana but previously lived in Madison Ohio. Mike is moving back to Ohio in June. Mike races road and cyclocross and has raced in our series and UCI races as well.
Nate is a Cat.3 road racer, cyclocross racer and very good triathlete and duathlete. He previously raced for the Summit Freewheelers and is also a member
of the Bike Authority Fleet Feet Triathon team. Nate lives in Ravenna.

Sherman is offering our team free bike fitting's during the month of January using the Spinscan and Dartfish methods. Both are very sophisticated fittings and we should take advantage of the generous offer. For more information and to set up a January fit appointment, call or e-mail the bike shop or refer to the team e-mail.
Also, Bike Authority is hosting an indoor 8 race TT series on the computrainer starting in January and ending in March. It is a payout series, so there is some moola to be made. Bring your own trainer to warm up on though and starting positions will be first come first serve. For more info. call the shop and ask for Mike or Shawn.

We have added six new members to Team Lake Effect for the 2009 racing season. Kyle and Luke Spisak both raced for the CAMBA mountain bike racing team in years past and have raced in the Elite division, both are very strong racers.
Janet Edwards, triathlete, endurance runner and soon to be road racer. Janet came from the Cleveland Triathlon Club and will also be a member of the Bike Authority / Fleet Feet multisport team. Jack Sutte, triathlete, duathlete, and a Cat.3 road racer that has raced on the Color Me Safe team for the past few years. Jack is a very strong racer and will also race for the Bike Authority / Fleet Feet multisport team. Jim Gilmore, Cat.3 road racer that has raced for the Summit Freewheelers in the past and brings alot of experience to the team. Richard Wiley, Cat.3 road racer and time trialer, raced for Orrville Cycling in the past and will add depth to our Masters team.
Welcome to the team everyone, and for all of our current members, please introduce yourself when you see our new members at a race or a training ride.

Bike Authority and Fleet Feet in Northfield have teamed up to form a multisport team for 2009-10. Any Lake Effect member interested in the team, let me know. We will get discounts at FF on shoes and clothing, race fee's and vendors that BA doesn't have. Clothing will be Craft and tri specific with the BA / FF logo on them. This is still early in the planning stages but will be a sure thing this coming year. Anyone interested there will be a meeting at Bike Authority somewhere around the 15th of January, which is a wednesday.
