Hello Cross Racers,

Some exciting news for Sunday's cross race (Race #6) at Boughton Farm in Copley. Race #6 is the last race of the Series.

Race #6 will feature a prime for the B and A races!! Vaughn Wallace, a young C racer from Penna., has generously arranged for 2 free (1-year) subscriptions to a brand new, cyclocross-dedicated magazine named "CXMagazine" to give out as first lap primes. The first racer in the B race and later in the A race to cross the lap/finish line will win the free subscription!! If you win, visit the registration table after the race to get your certificate. Thanks in advance to Vaughn and CXMagazine!!!

CXMagazine.com has also given Vaughan about 35 hard copies of the first issue of CXMagazine to give away to racers on race day. If you don't get a hard copy, don't worry. You can go to www.CXMagazine.com and read CXMagazine online and find out more about what they offer.

Stick around after the A race for the 9th Annual Bike Authority CX Series Awards. We have some special mementos for the top 3 overall point-getters in each division. For the sake of clarity, note that you have to race in 4 races to be eligible for the overall awards. Points from each race count, but this year the last race is not double points.

Help us celebrate a great season with a big piece of delicious cake. You deserve it!!!

Give Lynn Marut and Renee Wilford -- our faithful VOLUNTEERS -- a big thank you at registration (or any time)! We couldn't have the Series without our volunteers, most of all Lynn and Renee. As most of you know, Lynn is also our licensed USA Cycling Chief Official.
